This clause is intended to define the essential terms of the contract:
User: this term refers to any person who uses the site or one of the services offered by the site.
The SANTEXPAT.FR website provides a health insurance comparison service for French expatriates. SANTEXPAT.FR, and more specifically NEUVILLE SAS, as an insurance intermediary, offers insurance products from partner insurers aimed at expatriates. SANTEXPAT.FR endeavours to provide information that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies or failures to update this information, whether of its own doing or that of partner third parties who provide such information.
All information indicated on the SANTEXPAT.FR website is provided for guidance and may change. In addition, the information provided on the SANTEXPAT.FR website is not exhaustive. It is subject to modifications that may have been made since it was put online.
The SANTEXPAT.FR website cannot be held responsible for material damage resulting from use of the site. In addition, users undertake to access the site using recent hardware, free of viruses and with an up-to-date, latest-generation browser. The SANTEXPAT.FR site is hosted by a service provider within the European Union in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR no. 2016-679).
The aim is to provide a service with the highest possible level of accessibility. The host ensures continuity of service 24/7 throughout the year. In this case, users must specify which personal data they would like SANTEXPAT.FR to correct, update or delete, identifying themselves precisely with a copy of an identity document (ID card or passport).
Requests for deletion of personal data are subject to the obligations imposed on SANTEXPAT.FR by law, particularly in terms of document retention or archiving. Finally, users of SANTEXPAT.FR may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities, and in particular with the CNIL.
SANTEXPAT.FR undertakes not to process, host or transfer customer information to any country outside the European Union or any country recognised as ‘non-adequate’ by the European Commission without first informing the customer. SANTEXPAT.FR undertakes to take all necessary precautions to maintain the security of information and to ensure that it is not disclosed to unauthorised persons. However, if an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of customer information comes to SANTEXPAT.FR’s attention, the company shall promptly inform the customer and indicate what corrective measures have been taken. In addition, SANTEXPAT.FR does not collect any so-called “sensitive data”.
User personal data may be processed by SANTEXPAT.FR subsidiaries and subcontractors (service providers) solely for the purposes described in this policy.

French law applies to this contract. In the absence of an amicable settlement of a dispute arising between the parties, only the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal shall be competent.
